About Me

Just someone that was bored during class, and thought that you would like to know how it would be to be a Crown College of the Bible student.

So I am srry I have not been online since I got home very much. I will try and do better now. So I have been home for awhile and the pastor of my church has put me to work. I have sang at just about every service since I have been home. Now I get to teach the little children's sunday school class. I do not know what I am going to do so if any of you have any advice just post them or if you know any good websites I can get some lessons from. We stopped the lesson plans that we used to get it got a little to much money when we did not have that many children. I can also use some help in ways I can get more children into the church. You know brother Gay always says if you do not have children running up and down the halls we are not alive. You know what that is true because that is the future of our church and the children being there will bring the parents into the church which means we will see more souls saved. So any ideas you guys have just post them for me thanks.

Grace,Hey---great you asked....
the kids4truth.com has lots of things to teach...go to the daily devotion site and then from there...find a verse (or part of one if thye are very small) and hold them accountable to recite it each week. Print up some type of reward coupon on your computer, and get a treasure box (pencils, stickers, bubbles, trinkets from the $1 store....and for each ten they get, they can pick one prize from the box. Reward them for being faithful, and for bringing visitors and for bringing their Bible. You see, it does not take long to get a bunch!!(this keeps them interested). If you need help, let me know---you can get my email from Pam and my phone #....I will be out of town this weekend but will galdly help you next week and show you how to develop a story time, etc.

oh Grace this is so exciting!

Pat has a treasure trove of help for you it seems and I think you would enjoy having her mentor you as it is someone fresh in your life. I will look through my stuff and see what I can suggest later.
Have fun! That is the most important thing! Don't get in a box and think there is only one way to do it! Stay in the word of God daily yourself or you are not qualified to teach His little ones! Pray Pray Pray. Practice telling your stories in front of a mirror or in front of your mom. These are a few thoughts that come to my mind right now at almost # in the morning!
